Where do we start on Bondy's colourful Musical Career?.....
Well...It is like this............
BONDY started his musical journey in his younger years and he was heavily influenced by his talented musical family.
His mother was a singer in the Salvation Army back in the good ol' days back in the 1960's and his father used to 'tinkle the ivories' in the local pubs and bars backing accordion/piano with his mate Les Purse, who played drums to keep the beat!.
Bondy's uncle provided a local disco for family and friends across the area, so we guessed that Bondy couldn't escape this path of musical wandering!.
Throughout his career Bondy has been involved in a variety of projects and has been lucky enough to have worked with some incredible people within the industry writing music for productions by Michael Burrell (Playwright) and actors Sir Derek Jacobi -& Sir Ian McKellen in 2011, and the amazing epic song "The Riverman" with Chris Morton, and Shane Allen of ShallieJam.
Bondy has also covered a support slot for the folk band "Belshazzar's feast" at Ely Folk club, and also worked in association at one stage as a technical director at a small local festival in Cambridgeshire with the Rock band 'Saxon'.
Over the past 26 years, Bondy has been performing his one man show in the local pubs, clubs, corporate and private events, alongside the festival scene, building his confidence as a musician to communicate, engage with touching people's lives by giving them music and memories of their lifetime, whilst working on his guitar skills learning new songs all the time and forever evolving as a musician and entertainer.
As Keith Richard says "you're always learning - you never finish school, Man!".
Bondy would like to thank everyone over the past 26 years supporting his art and passion for music . Without the amazing audiences across the country, along with his family and lovely wife , he wouldn't be doing what he is doing today!,
"You are the ones who have supported me the most throughout my career, for this, I am blessed to have known you all!"
